Christmas Photos at Prettyboy Run Farm
One of my favorite things about photography is catching up with old friends and their families every year and in different seasons of their lives. I have had the privilege of photographing Shana and Erik's rehearsal dinner, maternity session, and now family session and it has been such a joy capturing their journey together and as a family. Their little boy is so much fun and absolutely adorable, and was a blast to photograph. Erik & Shana, thank you so much for asking me to

Mini-Sessions at Hillendale Country Club
The quote "we didn't realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun" is a perfect depiction of this family and the relationships they have with one another. It is sessions like this that remind me just how fortunate I am to call this my "job", and add to the list of what I love about being a photographer. The family was so fun, the kids joked with one another (and even played a trick on their Dad 😉), and we laughed the entire time. Jess and Eric, thank you

Mini-Sessions at Prettyboy Reservoir
This season's mini sessions have been filled with such fun, loving families with beautiful connections with their children. This family was one of those families who joked with one another (and laughed at their jokes 😉), respected one another, and when I asked for a family picture, they snuggled in close. The rapport and genuine love they had for one another was palpable, and I loved every second with them. Kim and Gerben, thank you so much for trusting me with your family p

The Walters' Family at Prettyboy Reservoir
One of the first families I photographed when we started our photography business is the most loyal, loving, beautiful families I've ever met. Every year, we get together for photos and every year I am reminded of how much I love this family. Christina and Sam, thank you for your loyalty, friendship, and trust in this business. I love our relationship and greatly appreciate your choosing me for your family photos each year. xoxo,
Meghan

Dedication of the Dulaney Valley Bridge
"A true hero is not measured by the size of his strength, but by the strength of his heart." On the 9th anniversary of CPL. Christopher Coffland's death in Afghanistan, family and friends gathered to celebrate the dedication of the Loch Raven Bridge in his memory. His memory lives on in the Catch A Lift Fund and in all of the lives this organization is changing. Thank You, Veterans
“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” John F. Kennedy Words can never express my true feelings of gratitude for our military and Veterans for what they have sacrificed for our country, freedom, and safety. I thank my Dad, two brothers, Papa, and three Great-Uncles for their service, and for instilling in me a deep love and respect for our military from a very early age. #MeghanHomaPhotogra

Warrior Fit Weekend with Catch A Lift Fund
This is the true meaning of life. It's not about money or material items. It's about getting up each day with the determination to beat your personal best from the day before. To prove to yourself and everyone else that you can do what you've been told you cannot do. To be the best version of yourself each day. And believing you will succeed. This weekend changed lives of so many people, myself included. My heart grew exponentially, and my motivation to get out there and do s

Bacon Family on the Gunpowder River
This past weekend was jam packed with sessions, and one of the best was this beautiful family. We have the best of both worlds because they are our neighbors, and Jay and I (and Anna ;-) ) had the privilege of coaching their son in soccer this year. It was a cold and windy morning on Saturday, and they all were so patient and toughed it out for their pictures. We laughed, yelled "MARSHMALLOWS", and tried our best not to get muddy even though the ground was a muddy mess. Kenda
