Celebrating 11 Years of Meghan Homa Photography

This past Sunday, September 21st marked the eleventh anniversary of when we launched Meghan Homa Photography. I can still remember my very first wedding like it was yesterday, the feeling of excitement and nervousness in my stomach, and the fire in my soul that made me want to never stop taking photos. I remember coming home and saying, "I HAVE TO find a way to do this as a job!" And that is how Meghan Homa Photography began.

My heart is so full thinking back at the past eleven years. To my clients (who are now friends), thank you for trusting me with some of your most precious photos. Your trust and belief pushed me outside of my comfort zone and helped me grow as a person and photographer. To Jay, thank you for your support in the beginning to start this business. It was always so much more than a hobby to me, and I've loved every minute of it. To the people who said, "every stay-at-home Mom thinks they can be a photographer", thank you for doubting me. It just motivated me to prove you wrong. To my four babies, thank you for believing in me more than I could ever believe in myself. Thank you for dreaming with me, pushing me to be the best version of myself every day, and sacrificing family time so I could chase my photography dreams. We've accomplished more together, just the five of us, than I could ever ask for and we're just getting started.

Thank you all so much for the first eleven years! I can't wait to see what's in store for the next eleven!
